To ensure the quality and reliability of your service, this Acceptable Use
Policy (AUP) is enforced actively and strictly. To avoid disappointment,
please ensure that you have read and understood the points herein before
applying for an account.
The Internet is a powerful information and entertainment tool. We
expect our customers to use the Internet with respect, courtesy, and
responsibility, giving due regard to the rights of other Internet users
wherever they may be.
As a provider to the Internet community, our Acceptable Use Policy is
designed to produce a better environment for us all. Common sense is the
best guide as to what is considered acceptable use.
The following are examples of unacceptable uses which include but are not
limited to:
Illegality
In any form, including but not limited to activities such as
unauthorised distribution or copying of copyrighted software, harassment,
fraud, trafficking in obscene material, tobacco advertising, incitement,
drug dealing, and any other illegal activities.
Undesirable Content
Including but not limited to: We do not host adult content of any
description. Content relating to Hacking, Cracking, Warez and IRC is not
allowed. Software downloads may only be hosted if you are the writer and
copyright owner of the software or have written permission from the owner of
the work, all other software including freeware, shareware and trial
software is forbidden.
If
your website content is aimed at other countries, you must be aware that
different countries have differing standards of what may be considered
acceptable therefore content that may be common place and generally accepted
in the UK, may be considered grossly offensive and for example blasphemous
in your target country. It is your responsibility to research and identify
the sensitivities of your target countries. There are sufficient resources
on the web to make this task relatively easy. In short, be sensitive to the
other person, be respectful of their beliefs, check before you publish.
We do not systematically monitor client content or use word triggers to
monitor content, we do however reserve the right to monitor your content
from time to time in whatever way we may choose and will take immediate action if your content is found to
be in breach of any terms, conditions or clauses contained herein.
Net Abuse

return e-mail address on a commercial solicitation, spamming (sending
unsolicited advertising to numerous e-mail addresses or newsgroups and/or
generating a significantly higher volume of outgoing e-mail than a normal
user), trolling (posting outrageous messages in newsgroups to generate
numerous responses), mail-bombing (sending multiple messages without
significant new content to the same user), subscribing someone else to a
mailing list without that person's permission, cross-posting articles to an
excessive number of newsgroups, or attempting without authorisation to enter
into a secured computer system.
Bulk Email
The sending of bulk email whether opt-in or otherwise,
and the use of bulk email to promote a site hosted within Webmozaic.com
hosting space is strictly
forbidden.

Including but not limited to posting of defamatory, scandalous, or
private information about a person without their consent, intentionally
inflicting emotional distress, or violating trademarks, copyrights, or other
intellectual property rights.
Misuse of Resources
Including but not limited to employing applications which consume
excessive CPU time, memory or storage space. Chat/IRC, web proxy and mailing
list scripts are not allowed on our network under any circumstances.
Streaming media can be a drain on web server resources and as such is not
allowed. CGI based message forums which use flat file databases are often
found to use excessive system resources, to avoid disappointment please use
a PHP/ASP message forum. The use of web cam applications which maintain a
constant FTP connection uploading an image at regular intervals is
forbidden.
If you are unsure about content you intend to place on the internet or
require a derogation from this policy, please
ensure you check with us before you publish. We reserve the right to determine what
constitutes acceptable use. This policy will be actively monitored and
enforced.
